You may choose to have a family heirloom restored to its former glory, or that dated or unwanted item remodelled or remade. Whatever your preference, we can help. We can use your existing gemstones to create a completely new setting, creating a design of your choosing. For example, we can remodel a ring into a brooch, pendant or earrings. We can source replacements for missing or lost gemstones or match a gemstone for colour and size. We will also re-cut or polish an existing stone.

A significant proportion of the jewellery we sell is made and designed by us. Should you wish to commission a bespoke piece of jewellery, we are able to offer suggestions and ideas on style and suitability. Bespoke engagement and wedding rings are particularly popular.

You may have your own design in which case we will quote and offer practical tips as necessary. Once we have agreed upon a design, we will show you a choice of gemstones before we start work. Once authorised, we will take a deposit and contact you immediately when your jewellery design is completed.

As well as providing professional jewellery cleaning in store, we also offer specialist products for use at home, with advice on which gems and jewellery are suitable for these products.

We provide onsite rhodium plating services. Rhodium is a harder metal than gold and provides a durable surface to white gold. It is also a bright white metal and thus coats the natural grey tone of white gold. We recommend re-plating your jewellery piece every 12-18 months as rhodium plating is susceptible to wear and tear. Yellow gold or rose gold pieces can also be plated to make them appear white, however you would need to re-plate more frequently as the yellow colour will appear again from wear and tear. We can also rhodium plate silver jewellery pieces to prevent tarnishing.
