Acacia Fine Jewellers houses an onsite jeweller offering bespoke jewellery and jewellery repair services. Each piece is designed and made in Bowral by Carla Dal Pozzo, who has always been drawn to the craft of handmaking from a young age. Carla began her love of making jewellery as a childhood hobby with beaded jewellery and was drawn to jewellery manufacture after completing a short course in 2016.

Ever since, Carla has ventured in all things jewellery and although a challenging industry to enter, Carla was determined to pursue her career as a jeweller. From completing her Jewellery Manufacture Apprenticeship in 2019 and a Diploma of Gemmology in 2022. She has worked with reputable jewellers and is so appreciative of the wealth of experience and knowledge she has attained over the years.

A career in jewellery offers so many challenges and learning obstacles. Carla is rewarded by all she achieves and takes the pleasure in manufacturing timeless treasures for all her customers. She believes jewellery creates an unending dialogue between the past and present. Carla admires that jewellery has the ability to create emotions that last a lifetime and loves that she can be a part of someone’s special story.
